Pause new orders and reopen

Start a pause

1. Check that you are working in the right venue. On the web, iPhone or a narrow iPad, open Orders and tap the door button at the top. An open door means you are taking orders.
2. On a wide iPad, tap the venue and kitchen status at the bottom of the sidebar. The pause durations are under Pause for.
3. Choose 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. To stay paused until the next scheduled opening, choose Until we open again.
4. Check that the door is now closed and red. Tap it again to see when orders reopen. On a wide iPad, the sidebar status shows the time.

The pause applies to the selected venue and ends automatically at its deadline. Orders already placed and reservations are unaffected. Customers can still place preorders for collection after the pause ends.

Reopen early or extend the pause

1. Open the pause control and choose Open now to accept new orders immediately.
2. To keep the pause running, choose a duration under Pause for longer.
