Choose the right way to close

A short order pause, a booking closure, regular opening hours and website maintenance serve different needs.

Take a short break from new orders

  1. Use the door button in Orders. On a wide iPad, tap the venue and kitchen status at the bottom of the sidebar instead. Choose a duration or Until we open again.
  2. Existing orders and reservations remain in place, and the pause ends automatically.

Stop online bookings for some hours

  1. In Reservations, use the calendar button with a small clock to stop online bookings for a while. In Calendar, choose Close hours (Close Hours in the app) to plan a closure for set hours on any date.
  2. Only the booking times guests can pick online disappear. Opening hours, the hours on the website, online orders and pickup, and bookings your staff add are unaffected.

Change regular opening hours

  1. On the web, open Settings → Schedule and choose the weekday to edit its service windows or turn that day off.
  2. Changes save automatically. Check and fix any opening hours marked in red.
  3. In the app, open Settings → Restaurant, change the hours and tap the checkmark to save.

The schedule is a repeating weekly pattern. To close one whole date, select it in Calendar, choose the padlock button, then Close whole day, and confirm with Block day (in the app, Close Whole Day, then Block): it stops new reservations and pickup orders for that date. Closing only some hours removes booking times alone, and pickup orders carry on.

Close the whole customer website

  1. An owner or admin can open Settings → Website on the web and turn on Maintenance mode.
  2. Read the confirmation and choose Close site. Customers see the maintenance page until you turn the setting off.
  3. In the app, Maintenance mode is on the Restaurant page in Settings.
