Change the kitchen preparation time

Choose a new estimate

1. On the web, iPhone or a narrow iPad, open Orders and tap the flame button showing the current preparation time.
2. On a wide iPad, tap the venue and kitchen status at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose Prep time.
3. Choose 10, 15, 25, 35, 45 or 60 minutes to match the kitchen’s current workload.
4. The choice applies immediately. Check the minutes on the flame button, or in the sidebar kitchen status on a wide iPad.

This estimate is shared across all venues of the restaurant and affects new orders. A staff login limited to one venue needs an owner or admin to change it. To pause one venue’s new orders, use the door button instead (on a wide iPad, the Pause for group in the kitchen menu).
